Elk Roundhouse is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Sheets and towels are NOT provided. 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended to reach the home in wintry conditions. Due to the location, this generally is the entire winter. Refunds and or discounts will not be given to tenants who have difficulties driving up the road to Elk Mountain Roundhouse.

Families Welcome: Elk Roundhouse is intended for family groups. Sororities, fraternities or unchaperoned groups are asked not to apply. No pets are allowed. No smoking is permitted.

Security/Damage/Cleaning Deposit: All reservations require a $500 refundable security deposit. Your security deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your departure provided there is no damage, the house is left in good condition, and you vacate the premises and return all keys to the designated area no later than 2:00 pm. You will be held responsible for damages that cannot be covered by the $500 security deposit.

Payments:  Personal checks or money orders are acceptable methods of payment.  If your personal check is returned for any reason, there will be a $25 service charge added to your balance.

Balance of Rent: Remaining balances (50% of rent, security/damages/cleaning deposit) are due at least 4 weeks prior to your stay. You may pay this by personal check or money order.   50% deposit due at time of lease signing to hold rental dates.

Cancellations: If you must cancel your confirmed reservation within two weeks of your rental date, regardless of reason (including bad weather, illness, or economic factors) YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR ADVANCE RENT.  If you cancel within two weeks of your rental date, you will forfeit your security deposit.  If you cancel any time prior to two weeks within your rental date, every effort will be made to reschedule your stay, and find a replacement, however, if a replacement is not found you will lose 50% of your deposit.

Hot Tub:  Parent supervision is required for all hot tub use by any persons under 18.  Owners assume no responsibility or liability for any injuries. Hot tub is emptied and re-filled between renters. Cleaners/chemicals are provided.

Winter Sports:  Sledding and other winter sports are at your own risk.  Owner assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries.

Pond:  The pond is not a part of the property.  There is to be no swimming, ice skating or walking on the pond.

Firewood is available for $1 log - (honor system)
